Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooking oil
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup molasses
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 5 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Step 1

Beat oil, sugar and egg together well. Add molasses.
Stir milk and baking soda together to dissolve and add

Add flour and salt. Mix well. Roll out 1/4 inch thick on floured surface. Cut into 2 3/4 inch rounds. Arrange on greased baking. Bake in 375 oven for 8 - 10 minutes.
