Please not the turkey will not look like the picture. The turkey is boiled in the broth. If you like you could brush the breast with some butter and broil it for a few minutes to brown it.

Ingredients

  • 1-2 bay leaves
  • 1 medium onion, quartered
  • 3 cups no fat/low sodium chicken broth
  • 4 - 5 whole black peppercorns
  • 2 - 3 lb fresh "raw" turkey breast with skin removed

Step 1

Remove skin and all visible fat. Place the turkey breast in the crockpot, add onion quarters, bay leaf, and peppercorns. Cover with chicken broth.

Turn crockpot on high for the first hour and then to low for 6-8 hours.

Remove from broth and serve. Turkey will be moist and delicious!
