  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 12 ounces beer, can be flat

Step 1

Grease two 12" pizza pans.

In a large bowl, or a food processor, combine the flours, baking powder and salt. Stir to mix. Pour in the beer and process until if forms a really wet, sticky dough. Let it spin until it begins to stick together in a ball and leaves the sides of the container. Dough will be very sticky. Let rest 5 minutes.

Dump the dough out onto the prepared pans. Sprinkle the top with flour to reduce stickiness and by hand, pat the dough into an even layer, all the way to the edges of the pans.

Top however you want then bake at 425 for 20 - 25 minutes until the bottom is lightly browned and the toppings are done.
