Ingredients
- 2 c flour
- 3/4 c sugar
- 1 t bp
- 1/2 t nutmeg
- 1/4 t salt
- 1/2 c cold butter
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c raisins
- Milk

Preparation
Step 1
350F
Combine dry ingred in med bowl; blend well.
Using pastry blender, cut in butter until mixture ressmbles coarse meal.
Place egg in 1-cup measure and beat lightly with a fork. Add milk to just under 1/2 cup. Pour into flour mixture and stir to make a soft dough. A little more milk may be needed.
On a floured surface shape dough into a ball and knead lightly 5-6 times.
Roll to 1/4-inch thickness and cut into rounds.
Bake for 20 mins or until lightly browned
