Pecan Bread Pudding

  • 2 Cups sugar
  • 5 Lg. eggs, beaten
  • 2 Cups milk
  • 2 Tsp. vanilla
  • 3 Cups cubed Italian bread, allow to stale overnight in a bowl
  • 1 Cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 Stick butter, softened
  • 1 Cup pecans



Step 1

Oven 350 Grease a 9x13 pan

Mix sugar, eggs, and milk in a bowl, add vanilla
Pour over bread, let sit 10 min. In another bowl mix & crumble brown sugar, butter and pecans

Pour bread mixture into pan-sprinkle brown sugar mixture over top & bake 35 to 45 min, or until set Remove

Sauce: 1 cup sugar, 1/2 stick melted butter, 1 egg, beaten, 2 tsp. vanilla Combine all and cook over medium heat until sugar melts
Pour over warm bread pudding!
