Ingredients

  • 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate
  • 1/2 cup plus 1 tsp butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 ounce semisweet chocolate

Step 1

Preheat oven at 325 F. Grease 9-inch round pan. In small saucepan melt 3 ounce unsweetened chocolate and 1/2 cup butter. Cool. Mix eggs, add sugar, then melted chocolate. Stir in flour and vanilla. Pour into round pan. Sprinkle evenly with nuts, press lightly into batter. Bake 25 minutes. Cool 10 minutes. Remove. Cut into 16 pieces. Melt all chocolate, butter. Dip cut edge into chocolate. Let set.
