- 6 bacon slices, chopped
- 1 Large yellow onions, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- Cook spatzel and and to the end of cooking time.

Preparation
Step 1
Cook chopped bacon in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat until crisp; remove bacon, and drain on paper towels, add chopped onion and saute till soft. add green beans and cover. Cook until done. Top with bacon and spatzel if using.
