Ingredients
- Meatballs:
- 1 lb ground sirloin
- 1 lb italian chicken sausage, casings removed
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup italian bread crumbs
- 1/2-3/4 good quality ground parmesam
- dash garlic powder
- Sauce:
- Large can Tuttarossa or Conto crushed tomatoes
- 3 (14 oz) cans Hunts tomato sauce
- 1 diced onion
- 3-4 garlic cloves
- olive oil

Preparation
Step 1
Meatballs:
Mix all ingredients together and form into balls.
Brown in olive oil.
Either cook through by frying or bake at 350 for 15-20 min on parchment paper/cookie sheet.
Sauce:
Coat saucepot with olive oil and brown onion and garlic.
Add tomatoes and sauce. Stir.
Add meatballs.
Cook 3-4 hours on very low heat (barely bubbling), partially covered.
Add oregano, parmesan, basil, and pepper to taste.
Makes 40 meatballs
