GREENS****Wilted Greens with Chilli Oil 1 Picture

Ingredients

  • 2 servings
  • 300 grams (10 oz.) mixed bitter greens, such as kale, Swiss chard, mustard greens, turnip greens
  • 1 tbsp. EVOO
  • 3/4 tsp. chilli oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tbsp. sweet chilli sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. kecap manis
  • 3 1/2 tbsp. water or broth
  • salt and freshly ground pepper

Preparation

Step 1

* Shred the greens coarsely, removing any ribs as you go.

* Heat the oils in a wok, add the garlic and saute for 30 seconds. Add the greens and toss for 4 - 5 minutes, until coated with the oil.

* Add the chilli sauce, kecap manis and water. Cover with a lid and steam the greens for 1 minute then season and serve.
