Potatoes - Cheesy Scalloped in Crock Pot 0 Picture

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. potatoes sliced 1/8" thick
  • 16 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk

Step 1

Spray crock pot insert or use a liner

Mix the condensed soup with 1/2 cup milk.

Layer the ingredient in the c rock pot in this order. About 1/4 of the potato slices, 1/4 of the cheddar cheese, some of the bacon crumbles, salt and pepper, and about 1/4 of the soup mixture.

Repeat layers ending with the soup mixture. Cover and cook on low for 7-9 hours (or high 4-5 Hours) until potatoes are soft.

I stirred every hour or so to keep from burning on the sides.
I also dished up in my individual crockery frying-pan like dishes and broiled under the broiler until cheese was browned.
