Ingredients
- Topping:
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
- Chopped pecans or walnuts
- Rolls:
- 3 to 3 - 1/2 cups flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 cup water
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 egg
- Filling:
- 2 Tbsp. butter, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon

Step 1
Grease 13 x 9" pan. In small bowl combine topping ingredients and blend well. Drop mixture into prepared pan and spread evenly.
Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. In large bowl, blend 1 1/2 cups flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. In small saucepan heat water and butter until very warm ( 120 to 130 degrees). Add warm liquid and egg to flour mixture.Blend at low speed until moistened; beat 3 minutes at medium speed. By hand, stir in 1 1/2 to 2 cups flour until dough pulls cleanly away from sides of bowl.
On floured surface, knead 1 minute.
Press or roll dough into 15 x 7" rectangle.
For filling, spread softened butter on dough. Combine sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over butter.
Roll up jelly roll fashion, starting with 15" side; seal seams.
Cut into 12 slices; place cut side down in prepared pan.Cover loosely with plastic wrap and cloth towel.
Let rise in warm placre until light and doubled in size, about 35 to 45 minutes.
Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until golder brown.
Turn onto serving platter. Yield: 12 rolls.
