- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 cups sifted cake flour
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 7 egg whites

Step 1
Cream butter and sugar, add vanilla. Sift flour with baking powder. Add alternately with milk, beating well after each addition of flour. Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry, and fold into cake. Bake in 3 greased 9" pans in slove oven (325) for 35 minutes. When cool, frost with 7 minute frosting.
