Indulgent Overnight Oatmeal

By

COMMENTS:
We make these in half pint mason jars with plastic lids. We use a base of 1\2c water and 1\2 cup quick oatmeal then add our flavorings. I like 1\2t cinnamon, 1T powdered sugar, and 1T brown sugar (cinnamon roll). 1\4c apple sauce and 1\2t cinnamon is good too. My husband likes 1T mini chocolate chips and 1\2T chocolate syrup (chocolate chocolate chip). I want to try that s'mores option. I like mine cold, straight out of the fridge. He like to heat his up.

I use Greek yogurt--I add the oatmeal, then flax seeds, large chunks of either pecans or walnuts, then whatever fresh fruit, mainly berries, I have on hand. In the morning it is definitely an indulgence for me.
