Ingredients
- 1 (10.75oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1.2 small onion, diced
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp milk
- 1 pkg (8oz) sliced fresh mushrooms (3 cups)
- 1/2 stick unsalted butter
- 2 Tbsp dried basil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (cut into cubes)
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs (cut into cubes)

In a skillet over medium heat add butter, mushrooms, onions and garlic; cook until mushrooms and onions are softened and browned. In a slow cooker, mix together the soup, mushrooms, onions, parsley, wine, and milk. Add dried basil, season with salt and pepper. Place chicken in the slower cooker, covering with the soup mixture. Cook on LOW setting for 5 to 6 hours, or on HIGH setting for 3 to 4 hours. Serve over egg noodles or rice.
