Ingredients
- For the Bisquits:
- 2 1/2 Cups Bisquick baking mix
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 4 Tablespoons COLD butter (1/2 stick)
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 heaping cup grated cheddar cheese
- To brush on top:
- 2 Tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Preparation
Step 1
* Preheat oven to 400 degrees
* Combine Bisquick with cold butter in medium bowl using pastry cutter or large fork (do not mix too thoroughly, there should be pea-size chunks of butter remaining)
* Add Cheddar cheese, milk and garlic powder
* Mix by hand until combined (DO NOT OVER-MIX)
* Drop approximately 1/4 cup portions of the dough onto ungreased cookie sheet using ice cream scoop
* Bake for 15-17 minute or until top of biscuits begin to turn light brown
* Remove biscuits from oven
* Melt butter in small bowl
* Stir in garlic powder and dried parsley flakes
* Use pastry brush to spread garlic butter over tops of biscuits
* Use all butter
* Makes one dozen biscuits

** NOTE: I know it is tempting to try and "lighten up" recipes but I DO NOT reccommend doing so with these biscuits. The flavor and texture really benefit from the cold butter and whole milk.
