My adaptation of Cathy's masterpiece breakfast casserole!

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread, cut into cubes
  • 1 lb. Bacon, fried or cooked in microwave (I use the pre-cooked & crumbled bacon by Hormel 1 1/2 to 2 cups crumbles)
  • 1 lb sausage, fried and separated into small bits
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 12 eggs
  • 4 cups milk
  • 2 t. salt
  • 2 t. mustard powder

Preparation

Step 1

Put bread cubes into a 9x13 pan
Mix the salt and mustard powder with a little bit of the milk & blend until smooth
Mix the mustard mash with the eggs with the cheese, & the rest of the milk, salt & mustard powder
Pour all other ingredients over the bread cubes
Let it all soak overnight in the refrigerator
Bake 350 for 1 hour
