Ingredients
- 1/2 lb saltfish
- 1 can ackee
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 green onion, diced
- 1/2 red pepper, diced
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic chopped
- 1 tsp thyme

Preparation
Step 1
1. Boil saltfish to remove excess salt. Flake fish and set aside.
2. Drain and rinse ackee and set aside
3. In a large fry pan heat oil and saute chopped onion, tomatoe, green onion and red peppers till soft. Remove from pan and set aside.
4. In the same pan saute saltfish and ackee on medium heat. Add pepper, garlic, thyme, and simmer for 6-8 minutes.
5. Add sauteed onions and peppers back into pan and lower heat cooking for several more minutes to blend ingredients.
