Ingredients

  • 2 cans pear halves
  • 1 can apricot halves
  • 1 can light sweet cherries
  • 1 can pineapple tidbits or chunks
  • juice of one lemon
  • 3/4 cup combined fruit syrup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp ground cloves
  • 2 T margarine

Step 1

Drain fruits, reserving 3/4 cup of the combined syrups. Arrange fruit in a 2-qt. casserole and sprinkle with lemon juice. Combine the reserved fruit syrup, brown sugar, and spices, and pour over fruit. Dot with margarine. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Serve with ham loaf!
