Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2/3 cup cold butter
  • 4 to 5 tbs. cold water

Preparation

Step 1

Combine flour and salt in large bowl; cut in butter and then stir in enough water just till flour is moistened.
Divide dough in half; shape each half into ball. Flatten slightly and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate

For baked unfilled pie shell, prepare dough as directed. Prick crust all over with a fork and then bake. Bake at 475 for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
