Chocolate Chunk Cookie Mix in a Jar

Great for gift giving.
Attach these directions:
In large mixing bowl, cream together 2/3 c softened butter, 1 egg,1 tsp water, and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract until light and fluffy. Add contents of jart and mix well. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto and ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 375* for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes 3 dozen.

Ingredients

• 1 1/4 c all purpose flour
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 c firmly packed light brown sugar
• 1/3 c sugar
• 1 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1/2 c pecans, chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl. Spoon into 1 qt widemouth canning jar.Layer remaining ingredients in order given. Making sure to pack down thoroughly and clean inside of the jar with a dry paper towel after each layer.
