Ingredients
- Cake:
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup quick oats
- 1 stick soft margarine
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp soda
- Topping:
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup coconut
- 1/4 cup soft margarine

Preparation
Step 1
Cake:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bring water to a boil, add quick oats. Let stand for 20 minutes and then add remaining ingredients. Bake in 8 x 11 pan at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
Topping:
Mix ingredients together and spread on cake. Return cake to oven to brown coconut.
