Ingredients
- 4 sticks of butter
- 2 cups of sugar
- 2 tbs. white Karo
- 4 tbs. water
- 2 pkgs. milk chocolate chips
- 2-2 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Step 1
In a heavy pan heat these 4 ingredients, only time to stir is when butter is melted.
Bring to a rolling boil and then turn to slow boil, put in candy thermometer
and cook until it reaches 280.
Remove from heat and stir vigorously until it forms a carmel texture.
Pour pecans in large cookie sheet and top with chocolate chips. Place in 200 oven while mixture is cooking, take it out just before you are ready to pour toffee.
Pour immediately over pecans and chocolate chips and work it back and forth.
