Pizza-Waffle Iron

Waffles and pizza? Sounds like an odd combination but this recipe beautifully combines the two into a soft, cheesy pizza that is easy to make and will wow everybody’s taste buds.

Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup of butter, melted and a little cool
- 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 3/4 cup Gruyere cheese, grated
- 1 1/2 cups pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, grated
- 30 to 35 pepperonis (if you want pepperoni pizza)
- dried basil for extra flavor
- red chili flakes for garnish

Preparation
Step 1
Start out by making the batter for the pizza waffle. Combine your dry ingredients in one bowl. In another, combine your Parmesan and Gruyere cheese, milk, eggs, and butter.
Combine the wet and dry ingredients and mix to make the waffle batter.
Make sure your waffle iron is sprayed, and then put some batter on! Cook it through so that the waffle is sturdy.
Take your pizza sauce, and spread it onto the waffle. Add on the mozzarella cheese on top, and any other toppings or garnish you want.
Close the waffle iron not entirely, and let the cheese melt. When its all melted take the pizza out and enjoy.
