Ingredients
- MEAT:
- 2 lbs. lean ground beef
- 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1/2 c. Italian seasoned break crumbs
- SAUCE:
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can golden mushroom or cream of mushroom soup
- 1 envelope dry au jus mix
- 3/4 c. water
- Mashed potatoes

Preparation
Step 1
Mix meat, onion soup mix, milk and bread crumbs. Make into patties and dredge with flour. Fry in oil, browning on both sides. Mix sauce ingredients together. Layer patties into crock pot with sauce in between layers. Cook on low for about 4 hours. Place mashed potatoes in bottom of a 9x13 and an 8x8 pan. Top with gravy and salsbury steaks.
