Ingredients
- Cookie Base:
- 1 c. unsifted flour
- 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 t. baking powder
- 1/4 t. salt
- 1/4 c. butter, softened
- Topping:
- 2 c. milk chocolate chips
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 t. vanilla
- 1/4 t. salt
- 1 c. chopped pecans, divided

Step 1
Cookie:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl combine flour, brown sugar, baking soda and salt; mix well. Cut in butter with pastry blender or two knives until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Press evenly into greased 13 X 9 X 2 baking pan. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes
Topping:
Melt over hot, but not boiling water, milk chocolate chips; remove from heat. In small bowl combine eggs, brown sugar, vanilla and salt. Beat for 2 minutes at high speed. Add melted chocolate; mix well. Stir in 1/2 cup pecans.
Pour over cookie base; sprinkle with 1/2 cup pecan and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
