- 2 eggs, room temperature
- 1 C milk, room temperature
- 7/8 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 C beef drippings
Beat eggs in medium bowl until frothy. Mix in milk. Gradually add flour and salt, beating until smooth and bubbly.
Heat beef drippings in 8 x 8 inch pan, or divide among 12 muffin cups. when sizzlling hgot, pour batter into pan, or muffin cups 1/2 full.
Bake in 450 oven for about 30 minuts for muffin cups and longer for pan.l It should be puffed and browned.
