Ingredients

    eggs, room temperature

  • 1

    C milk, room temperature

  • 7/8

    cup flour

  • 1/2

    tsp salt

  • 1/4

    C beef drippings

Directions

Beat eggs in medium bowl until frothy. Mix in milk. Gradually add flour and salt, beating until smooth and bubbly. Heat beef drippings in 8 x 8 inch pan, or divide among 12 muffin cups. when sizzlling hgot, pour batter into pan, or muffin cups 1/2 full. Bake in 450 oven for about 30 minuts for muffin cups and longer for pan.l It should be puffed and browned.
