Creamy Coleslaw

This delicious recipe for creamy coleslaw is a great addition to the Rachel Sandwich

Ingredients

• 2 tablespoons sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
• 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
• 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
• 3/4 cup cider vinegar
• 1 cup mayonnaise
• 1 cabbage (3 pounds), finely shredded
• 2 large carrots, finely shredded

Preparation

Step 1

In a small bowl, whisk together sugar, salt, celery seed, and vinegar until well combined. Slowly whisk in mayonnaise until combined.

Toss cabbage and carrots together in a large bowl. Add dressing and toss until vegetables are fully coated. Refrigerate, covered, for at least 1 hour before serving.
