Ingredients
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 small red pepper, chopped
- 1 to 2 hot chilli peppers,
- seeded and chopped
- 1 ActiFry spoon olive oil
- 500 g/1 lb lean minced beef
- 2 ActiFry spoons tomato paste
- 325 ml/11 fl oz beef broth, divided
- 1 tsp each ground cumin
- and coriander
- 1 tsp hot chilli powder
- 1 can (398 ml/13 fl oz) diced tomatoes
- with juices
- 1 can (398 ml/13 fl oz) kidney beans,
- drained and rinsed
- Salt and pepper (optional)

Preparation
Step 1
Place the onion, red pepper and hot chilli peppers in the ActiFry pan.
Drizzle evenly with the oil. Cook for 5 minutes. Crumble the beef into the ActiFry pan. Cook for 5 minutes or until the meat is browned all over.
Whisk the tomato paste with 1/3 cup (75 ml/2 1/2 fl oz) of the broth, the cumin, coriander and chilli powder. Add the broth mixture and tomatoes
with juice to the ActiFry pan. Cook for 25 minutes.
Add the kidney beans and remaining broth to the ActiFry pan. Cook for 10 minutes or until beans are heated through. Season to taste with salt and pepper (if using).

Substitute mild chilli powder for a less spicy version.
