Savory Squash Casserole

Ingredients
- 10-12 large yellow squash, sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 (8oz) carton sour cream
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 1/2 c cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 c cornflakes or Ritz crackers, crushed
- 3 tbs butter, melted

Preparation
Step 1
Cook squash and onion in boiling water to cover for 20 minutes. Drain well and place on paper towels pressing lightly.
Stir together squash mixture, sour cream, salt and pepper.
Spoon into lightly greased 9x13 baking dish. Top with cheese.
Stir together crumbs and butter. Sprinkle over top.
Bake 350* for 30 minutes.
