Ingredients
- 1 box of rigatoni noodles
- 2 stalks of broccoli, cut up
- 1 large carrot, thinly sliced at 45 degree angle
- 1 cup of heavy whipping cream
- 1 stick butter
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- asparagus for side

Preparation
Step 1
-Do step 1, 2 and 3 simultaneously-
1. Bring med-large pot of water to a boil.
2. Add asparagus and enough water to cover asparagus to pan and bring to a boil. Then turn down to low and simmer while everything else is cooking.
3. Add broccoli and carrots to a steamer and steam for 10 min.
4. Add noodles to boiling pot of water. Turn down to med-low heat and cook for 7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain in colander and keep covered with damp paper towel while making sauce.
5. In the pot you boiled noodles in, stir butter and whipping cream with a whisk on low until butter has melted. Turn heat up to medium-low and cook another 2-3 min, mixing with the whisk constantly.
6. Add parmesan cheese to sauce until melted. Add pepper, mix and cook another 2-3 minutes.
7. Add noodles to sauce and stir. Then add broccoli and carrots to sauce and stir.
8. Serve with asparagus and season with black pepper.
