Ingredients
- 4 T. water
- 2 T. vinegar
- 2 tsp. butter
- 4 T. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 egg yolks or 2 eggs

Step 1
Heat vinegar and water; pour over well beaten eggs. Return to double boiler. Add seasonings and butter. Cook over hot water until thickens. When cool, can add milk, if too thick.
