  • Crust:
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 pkg. chopped walnuts
  • 1 pkg. chocolate or butterscotch chips

Step 1

Mix above with mixer and pat down in buttered pan. Cover this with large pieces of nut meats. In saucepan melt 2/3 cup margarine and ½ cup brown sugar. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute then pour evenly over crust and nuts. Bake 20-22 minutes in 350° oven or until mixture is bubbly. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with chips. Let chips melt and spread evenly like frosting. Set aside to cool and to allow chocolate to harden.
