Green Bean Stew with Fresh Sage, Pear and Groundnuts 1 Picture

Ingredients

  • 600 g/1 lb 5 oz green beans
  • 2 pears
  • 1 spoon chopped fresh sage
  • 2 spoons groundnuts
  • 100 ml/3 1/2 fl oz reduced fat cooking cream
  • 100 ml/ 3 1/2 fl oz vegetable broth
  • 1 tsp oil of your choice

Preparation

Step 1

A great twist on boring, boiled beans. Cut off the tips of the beans with a knife and then halve them. Peel the not too ripe pears and cut them in cubes.

Pour a spoon of oil in the ActiFry and fry the beans with the finely chopped sage for approximately 10 minutes.

Add the pear cubes and the groundnuts. Pour the vegetable stock with the cooking cream on the bean dish. 10 minutes later you can enjoy this tasty load-me-up dish.
