  • Starter kit consists of :

  • Do not use any type of metal with this batter. Do not refrigerate.
  • If air forms in your bag, let it out.
  • 1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour, divided
  • 3 cups white sugar, divided
  • 3 cups milk
  • This is divided into 4 bags of 1 cup each and the remainder makes bread

Preparation

Step 1

Day 1 (Do nothing with your starter bag)
Day 2-5: Mush the Bag
Day 6: Add 1 cup flour, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup milk, mush the bag
Day 7-9: mush the bag
Day 10: Pour contents of bag into bowl and add 1.5 cups flour, 1.5 of sugar, and 1.5 cups of milk.
Measure 4 seperate cups of batter 1 cup each into 4 1-gallon ziplock bags. Keep one starter for yourself and give the other 3 bags away.
To the remaining batter add:
3 eggs
1 cup oil
1/2 cup milk
1 cup sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups flour
1 large box of vanilla pudding
Grease 2 large loaf pans and mix additional 1/2 cup sigar and 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon. Dust the greased pans with half the mixture. Pour batter evenly into the pans and sprinkle the remaining cinnamon/sugar mixture on top.
Bake for 1 hour at 325 degrees.
Cool for 10 minutes and serve!
