Ingredients

  • 2 whole chicken breasts, halved, no skin or bones
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms, 8 ounce bo
  • 1 garlic clove minced new line 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons lemon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Step 1

Put chicken in between pieces of plastic wrap and pound until they are a half inch thick. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Coat with flour and brown slightly in skillet and 3 tablespoons butter until light golden. Remove from skillet and keep warm (if you want, pour lemon juice over it and also sprinkle with lemon pepper). Add 1 tablespoon butter to skillet and brown mushrooms and garlic. Return chicken to pan. Add wine and lemon juice and simmer 7 to 10 minutes. Stir around until sauce is thickened. Top with parsley. Serve over fettuccine if desired.
