Ingredients

  • 2 tbls butter
  • 1 lb mushrooms , chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken stock
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 4 sprigs fresh dill, chopped
  • salt&pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

In medium pot melt butter. Add mushrooms and garlic, saute until tender, about 10 min. remove mushrooms and garlic to bowl. Deglaze pan with a small amount of wine. Add chicken broth and heat to a simmer. Add cream. Heat thoroughly but don't boil. Add the mushrooms, the main wine and dill, and heat through.Add salt and pepper to taste
