Ingredients

  • 1 ⁄2 pound cooked hamburger
  • 2 to 2 1⁄2 cups of baby carrots
  • 1 1⁄2 cup of cut up celery
  • 1 ⁄2 cup of chopped onion Pepper to taste
  • 2 TB of Beef Base
  • 1 1⁄2 to 2 cups of water
  • 1 large can of stewed tomatoes (cut up tomatoes & include the juice)
  • 1 medium can of stewed tomatoes (cut up the tomatoes & include the juice) 1 small can of tomato sauce

Step 1

Combine above ingredients in a large crock-pot. Cook on high for 6- 8 hours, low on 10- 12 hours. (You can also cook this on the stove if you wish)
Cook up some spiral noodles and add to the soup after it is done cooking. (I just cook the noodles while I’m making the soup and then put the cooked noodles in a ziploc baggie until it’s time to add them to the cooked soup.)
You can also serve this dinner with a green salad. I buy the bagged, Dole Caesar Salad, adding some cut up tomatoes to it.
Serve Cheese/Green Onion bread with this dinner. You can buy this at a bakery. If no one makes this in your area and you have a bread machine, just make some cheese bread to go along with this dinner. It’s very yummy!
Top off your meal with some fruit such as Strawberries/Bananas or Strawberry Shortcake. Enjoy!1 to 2 tsp. of Italian Seasoning
