PRETZEL SALAD CRUST

Ingredients

• 3/4 cup butter
• 3 tablespoons brown sugar
• 2-1/2 cups crushed pretzels
• 1 large package strawberry jello
• 2 cups boiling water
• 3 cups chilled strawberries
• 8 oz package cream cheese
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 container cool whip

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter and brown sugar . Mix with crushed pretzels. Pat lightly into buttered 9x13 pan. Bake 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

Dissolve jello in boiling water. Add while not chilled, the strawberries. Cool until it begins to set.

Cream the cream cheese. sugar, cool whip. Spread the mixture over the cooled crust. When jello mixture begins to set, pour it over the top of cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate over night.
