Gooey Butter Bars

Can make Chocolate Bars by changing yellow cake mix to a chocolate cake mix. Add 3-4 tbs of cocoa and 1 c chopped nuts to the filling

Ingredients

• Cake:
• 1 (18 1/4oz) pkg yellow cake mix
• 1 egg
• 8 tbs butter, melted
• Filling:
• 1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 8 tbs butter, melted
• 1 (16oz) box powdered sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Bake 350* in 9x13 inch baking pan, lightly greased.
Pat cake into bottom of pan.
Spread filling over cake atter,
Bake 40-50 minutes. Center will still be gooey.
