Green Chile Wonton Cups*****

This is a family favorite! The cups can be made up ahead of time, baked, then frozen. Right out of the freezer you can fill them and bake. I like to make these for a crowd, but small batches are also a treat.

Ingredients
- Filling:
- 1 pound shredded monterey jack cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup minced green onion
- 2/3 cup canned, minced, green chiles
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp oregano
- Cups:
- 1 package wonton wrappers
- olive oil

Preparation
Step 1
Filling:
1-Thoroughly mix all the "filling" ingredients in medium bowl.
2-Cover and refrigerate until wonton cups are ready to be filled.
Cups:Preheat oven 350*
1-Spray mini muffin pans with PAM.
2-Place 1 wonton wrapper in each muffin cup.
3-Press into place and brush with
olive oil.
4-Bake at 350* for 10-15 minutes, until crisp.
5-Remove wonton cups from muffin pans.
*note-These can be prepared and kept in the frig for 3 days or frozen for 3 months.
6-Place cups on baking sheet.
7-Fill cups with cheese mixture and bake at 350* for 10 minutes.
