Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, or liquid margarine
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 lb. chicken pieces, skinned
- 1/4 teaspoon sage
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1 cup skim milk
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation
Step 1
In saucepan, saute onion, celery, and mushrooms in margarine or oil until tender. Add chicken and sage, cooking for 5 more minutes. Pour in wine and cook 5 more minutes, allowing liquid to evaporate. In shaker container, combine flour and milk. Slowly stir into sauce, cooking 3 minutes or until thick. Stir in salt and pepper. Serve over tender cooked thick noodles.
