Ingredients

  • 1 package softened cream cheese
  • 16 oz shredded cheddar room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup green olives chopped
  • 2 cups chopped pecans

Preparation

Step 1

Blend together softened cheddar and cream cheese. When it becomes smooth, add spices and green olives.
When everything is completely mixed, put mixture on parchment paper, cover loosely, and refrigerate for one hour.
Take out and form into a ball. Roll ball in pecans until coated.
Serve with tortilla chips, toasted french bread rounds, or pita chips
