Ingredients
- 4 Eggs, beaten
- 1 2/3 Cups Sugar
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 1 Cup Mayonnaise
- 2 Cups Flour
- 1/3 Cup Cocoa
- 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1 1/4 Cups Water

Step 1
Combine eggs, sugar, and vanilla and beat until fluffy. Blend in mayonnaise and beat well. Sift together flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed ingredients alternately with water. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9-inch layer pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Cool and frost with favorite chocolate frosting.
