Ingredients

  • LeAnn's cookie crust
  • Can substitue 2 packages prepared cookie dough I like sugar cookie dough (see alternate crust directions)
  • 1 lb frozen strawberries thawed (or berry of your choice)
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 bag white chocolate morsels

Preparation

Step 1

Prepare LeAnn's crust as directed.

Place parchment paper inside large baking dish, leaving extra to come up over each side.
Grease pan and parchment paper.
Press crust into prepared baking dish.

Alternate crust directions:
let sugar cookie dough come to room temperature. Press evenly onto greased baking dish with parchment paper, making sure to come up 1 inch around sides. Bake at 325 for 8 minutes. Cookie dough will not be completely done. The dough will have risen slightly, when it has cooled to room temperature, press down slightly with fingertips. It is now ready for topping.

Filling for strawberry bars:
Smash berries gently with fork and spread over crust.
Spread chocolate morsels over berries.
Drizzle sweetened condensed milk over entire dish.
Bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes.
Cool for at LEAST one hour in refrigerator.
Run knife around edges (behind the parchment paper)
Place large cutting board over top of baking dish and flip.
It should pop right out.
Cut into desired number of pieces.
