Spiced Pecan Pancakes

Ingredients
- 2 1/4 C flour
- 2/3 C finely chopped pecans
- 3 T sugar
- 1 8gram pkg quick rise yeast
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 C warm milk (105 - 115 F)
- 1/4 C butter, melted
- 1 large egg

Preparation
Step 1
In large bowl, mix four, pecans, sugar, undissolved yeast, cinnamon and salt. Stir in milk, butter and egg umtil blended. cover; let rise in warm, draft-free place until doubled, about 45 minutes (or cover and refrigerate overnight, if desired). Stir down batter. Pour 1/4 C batter per pancake onto hot, lightly greased griddle; cook until edges are dry. Turn and cook until golden brown.
