Ingredients

  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 2 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 lb. extra lean ground beef, browned and drained
  • 1/2 cup rice, uncooked
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1 cup diced carrot
  • 1 can tomato soup, condensed
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • salt
  • pepper
  • paprika

Preparation

Step 1

Butter a casserole Dish and layer with onions, potatoes, haburger, rice, celery, carrots, adding salt, pepper and paprika to each layer. Add soup and water. Cover and bake in a slow oven 250-300 degrees for 3 to 4 hours. or crock-pot on low upto 8 hours or so.

NOTES : Mushroom soup is good too, instead of tomato.
