- Vanilla Ice Cream

- 4 QUARTS 6 QUARTS
- Milk 3 cups 4 cups
- Sugar 1 3/4 cups 2 3/4 cups
- Salt 1/2 tsp. 3/4 tsp.
- Half & Half 2 cups 3 cups
- Vanilla extract 1 T 2 T
- Whipping cream 3 cups 5 cups

Step 1
Scald milk until bubbles form around edges. Remove from heat. Add sugar and salt. Stir until dissolved. Stir in half & half, vanilla & whipping cream. Cover & refrigerate 30 minutes. Freeze as directed.
