Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. extra lean ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons minced onions
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Mix thouroughly all ingredients. Shape mixture into 6 patties, each about 3 inches in diameter and 1 inch thick.
To Broil: Set oven control at broil and/ or 550F. Broil 3 inches from heat 5 to 7 minutes for medium.
To PanFry: Fry over medium heat, turning frequently about 10 minutes.
To Oven-bake: Place on rack in pan; bake in 350 F oven 20 to 25 minutes.
To Grill: Add 1/2 cup water to ground beef mixture; Cook 12 minutes or until done.

VARIATIONS:
Horseradish Burgers: Add 2 TBs Horseradish to meat mixture.
Mustard and Pickle Burgers: Add 1 TBs dry ustard and 1/4 cup drained pickle relish.


Serve on Hamburger Buns with all the trimmings
