Ingredients

  • 1 can Black Beans, about 1 1/2 cups
  • 1 can Chickpeas, about 1 1/2 cups
  • 3 tbsp Water
  • 3 tbsp Tahini
  • 1 Lime, juice & zest
  • 2 cloves of Garlic or 1 tsp Powder
  • 2 tsp Chili Powder or Cumin
  • Salt & Pepper, to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Rinse and drain the beans.

Measure and pour everything into a food processor or blender. Pulse until evenly combined and smooth.

Adding 1 tbsp of water at a time, as needed.

Stop to scrape down the sides to mix everything evenly and ensure a smooth texture.

Transfer to an air-tight container and chill in the refrigerator.
