Ingredients
- 1 c. oleo, softened
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 3/4 c. white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. chocolate chips, coarsely chopped
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- Pinch salt
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Step 1
Combine oleo and sugar; mix well. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well. Mix well. Add flour, soda and salt; blend. Add chopped chips and nuts. Put in refrigerator to cool. Take teaspoonful; roll in balls. Put on lightly greased cookie sheet. Press ball of dough with a fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. To make butterscotch chip cookies, add 6 ounces of butterscotch chips instead of chocolate chips.
